Call for Demos
The CBMI 2009 Program Committee invites proposals for demos for the CBMI 2009, the 7th International Workshop on Content-Based Multimedia Indexing, to be held June 3-5, 2009, in Chania, Crete, Greece.
The demos may be of content-based multimedia indexing systems, as well as of other systems related to the topics of the workshop.
There will be also an additional demo session on automatic summarization tools.
The demo proposals should describe the problem solved by the demo, the user community addressed, and system requirements. The proposal should also provide a walk-through of the demo presentation. We also welcome URL's to any video/flash presentation of the demo to be included in the demo proposal.
Demo proposals (extended abstracts of maximum 4 pages using the Word or LaTeX styles provided on the CBMI demo webpage) should be submitted directly to Allan Hanbury or Philippe Joly by 2 February 2009.
The final demo paper will be published on a CD-ROM distributed to the participants of the CBMI. The page limit for the final demo paper will be 20 pages. It will also be possible to submit videos or other material related to the demo to be included on this CD-ROM.
