Petros Kapsalas is a PhD student working on subjects in the area of Point-Based Image Representation for Object Recognition and Image Retrieval. He obtained his diploma from the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering, Technical University Of Crete on 2004 and his Master of Science also from the Department of Electronics and Computer Engineering on 2006. His current research interests lie in the areas of interest points extraction, object recognition, image classification and scale-space image analysis.
