Kostas Rapantzikos is a senior researcher at the Image, Video and Multimedia Systems Laboratory (IVML) of NTUA, carrying out research in the area of image and video analysis. He received the PhD degree from the National Technical University of Athens and the Diploma (Electrical & Computer Engineering) and MSc degrees from the Technical University of Crete. His interests include modeling of visual saliency, salient/interest point detection in images/videos, biomedical imaging and motion estimation in compressed and uncompressed video. my ivml page
